These systems utilize the time-tested “bell” configurations in which the load is placed on a hearth and the radiation shield packs, heating elements, and chamber are lowered over the load. A PC/computer based programmable logic controller(PLC) provides completely automatic, unattended control with precise, repeatable results. Cycle parameters can be quickly and accurately changed from one run to the next through the Human Machine Interface (HMI) with the selection of preprogramed process “recipes”. These capabilities allow a variety of products to be processed with confidence.
